EXPRESSIONS

This school outreach project provides

ongoing educational support to both students and teachers.

Classroom activities are designed to meet individual school needs and

focuses on integrating the curriculum via the arts. 

Monthly visual arts activities connecting literature, science and social studies are presently

provided to a core group of 3,000 elementary students in grades kindergarten through fifth. 

Additionally, an estimated 6,000 students will see stage productions presented by

WINGS, the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center’s performing arts group,

Gulf Coast Youth Symphony and/or Quota Club.

Stained glass using transparent colored paper at Anniston Elementary in Gulfport

as part of a program on the Renaissance. 

Storyteller Doris Jones entertains students at

North Bay Elementary in Bay St.Louis

with "Turnip Ice Cream". YUM!!

 

Painting wood tiles for the Second Street Park in Gulfport was

part of the After School program for students at

Pass Road Elementary.
